Cheryl "Cherie" Ann Shepherd, 80, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on June 27, 2024. She was born on November 11, 1943, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late James and Evelyn (Carter) Novington. In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dominic Shepherd.

Cheryl loved playing cards and was involved in a card club with her friends. She was also a member of the La Belle View Church of Christ's Women's Club in Steubenville, Ohio. She was a "favorite" aunt to many of her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew (Colleen) Shepherd and Paul (Catherine) Shepherd; her daughter, Trescia (Jon) Heacock; her sisters, Tania Gasataya, Carole (Bill) Smith, Sonja (Don) Richardson, and Lauren (Herbert) Hess; her grandchildren, Jace, Adelyn, Dominic, Connor, Kyle, Jayden, Callie, Siena, and Quentin; and her many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 12 P.M. until time of services at 2 P.M. with Pastor Tim Groos officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
