Mexia, Texas, four grandchildren, Sam, Karena, and Walter Kimmel, Chandra Figueroa,  and two great grandchildren, Cohen Kimmel and Croix Figueroa, all of Tucson.  He was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.  His sister Virginia Hammet of Georgia survives.

Clarence was a long time active member of the Wintersville Baptist Temple.  He was a member of Wintersville American Legion Post 557 for over 50 years and was a past commander there.

During his retirement, he traveled every year to the reunion of his Army Air Force unit and hosted it once at Wright Patterson Air Base.  He also was able to visit many times his son and family in the Virgin Islands and Tucson, and his daughter and son-in-law in Texas.  Additionally, he had the opportunity to take a cruise to Alaska with his wife, daughter and son-in-law.

In August of 2014 he was able to travel back to Ohio with his daughter, son and daughter-in-law, to visit the places where he spent most of his life.   It was a wonderful time for everyone.
