Cody Lee Hanlin

Cody Lee Hanlin, 32, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2025. He was born on October 12, 1993, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Randall “Randy” (Jeanne) Hanlin and Michelle “Shelly” A. (Companion; Tom Needham) Sabatino. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Phillip and Margaret Sabatino; Paternal grandparents, Dave and Ellen Hunt and Eugene and Ruth Hanlin; his uncles, Gary Hanlin and Scott Hill; and his aunt, Marla Sabatino.

Cody was a graduate of Edison High School. Following graduation, he went on to work for Mondi Bags in Wellsburg, West Virginia. Cody was known for his kind and loving heart and the warmth he showed to everyone around him. He especially enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. Above all, Cody was deeply loved by his family, who will forever cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In honor of the family’s wishes, there will be no services held.
