Conley L. Marcum Sr.

Conley Lloyd Marcum Sr., 81, of Amsterdam, Ohio, passed away on January 28, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1944, in English, WV, to the late Henry and Estelle (Browning) Marcum.

Conley was 1 of 13 children.

He proudly served his country. He enlisted in the Navy after graduation and worked as radio dispatcher on submarines. He then worked as a technician for Sprint for 30 years before retiring. He was a lifetime member of the Amsterdam VFW. He loved his family and had a kind heart. He was a friend to all. His generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

Conley is survived by his sons, Conley (Bethany) Marcum Jr. and Lance ( Amanda) Marcum; his daughter, Amy (Justin) Marcum Howell; and his two grandchildren, Kaden Marcum and Sydney Howell.

Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5-7:30 P.M. Private burial to take place at Circle Green Cemetery in Bergholz, Ohio.
