Connie Johnson

Connie L. Johnson, 80, of Amsterdam, Ohio, passed away on April 20, 2026. She was born on August 21, 1945, in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul and Mabel (Ramsey) Elliott. In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Johnson; her granddaughter that she raised like her own, Darla Brown; and her close friends, Betty Evans and Linda Hurst.

Connie is a faithful member of the East Springfield Church of the Cross. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles; and adored her miniature pinscher, Midge who recently passed in January.

She leaves behind her son and care giver, Jonathan (Dorothy) Johnson; her daughters, Bonnie Weaver, Rhonda (Fred) Dulkoski, Janet (Don) Brown, and Celeste Tedrow; her sister, Anita (John) Croskey; her granddaughter, Emma Johnson; and her dog, Bo.

In honor of Connie’s wishes, there will be no services held.
