CORMA F. JOYNSON, 83, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Monday morning in her home following a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Amsterdam Covenant Church.
Corma was born May 15, 1922 in Carrollton, OH, a daughter of the late Samuel Lucian and Bertha (Long) Fisher. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Joynson who died February 9, 1987, a daughter, Kay Dawn Hudak, 1974, a grandson and 3 sisters, June Turvey, Neva Toalston and Lois McLaughlin. She is survived by 3 sons, John A. (Helen) Joynson, Bergholz, James W. (Christy) Joynson, Toronto and Evan T. Joynson, Bergholz; by 6 daughters: Rita (Glenn "Sonny") Dye, Amsterdam, Sandy (Bill) Briggs, Wolf Run, Connie (Ronnie) Reed, Bergholz, Sarah (Carl) Moran, East Springfield, Karen Joynson, Bloomingdale and Corma (Dana) Saltsman, Bergholz; 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Corma will be remembered with a Memorial Service to be held at 1 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St. Bergholz. The officiant will be Pastor Mike Thurston. Those not wishing to stay for the service may call from Noon until 1 PM at the Funeral Home prior to the service. Corma will be interred privately next to her husband in the Bergholz Cemetery.
