DALIO H. MONACO, 84, of Snellville, GA, formerly of Steubenville, OH, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, December 28, 2009 at his home. He was born in Steubenville, OH, February 13, 1925, a son of the late Antonio and Margherita D'Aversa Monaco. He is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Pasquale, Mario, George and Dino Monaco and by 5 sisters, Rose, Frances, Helen, Doris and Edna Monaco. He had been a self-employed laborer and was a WWII veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by a niece, Margaret Monaco of Steubenville. Funeral services for Dalio will be at 11 AM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville with visitation one hour prior to service time from 10 AM until the 11 AM service. Reverend Craig Smith will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with full military honors by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
