Daniel "Boone" Grimm, 52, of Mingo Jct., OH, passed away December 9, 2016 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
He was born April 6, 1964 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Robert L. Grimm, Sr. and the late Mildred M. (Anderson) Grimm.
Daniel worked for Cryogenics Construction as a sandblaster until illness forced him into retirement at which time he became an avid nature lover and enjoyed feeding the birds, squirrels, chickens, and deer. He was also a NASCAR fan, his favorite driver was Kyle Busch. He enjoyed going to and watching races with his family. He also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Daniel is survived by his siblings, Robert (Dayle) Grimm, Jr. of Bloomingdale, OH, Tammy Sue Wright of Mingo Jct., OH, Timothy (Eileen) Grimm of Toronto, OH, David Charles Grimm and his fiancée Gina Pizzoferato of Wintersville, OH, and Dawayne "Chip" (Melissa) Grimm of Dillonvale, OH.
Daniel is survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved as if they were his own children.
Friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 PM at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday with Pastor Jim Monogioudis and Pastor Roger Wayne officiating.
Burial will follow at New Alexandria, Mingo Jct., OH.
