Daniel E. Stone, 82, of Bergholz, Ohio passed away April 9, 2025 at Valley Hospice Care Center.

He was born January 25, 1943 in in Bergholz, Ohio, a son of the late James and Evelyn (Finn) Stone. He was a Veteran of the US Army and was retired from Verizon after 36 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Dan was a Springfield Twp. Trustee for 44 years and was the longest serving twp. Trustee in Jefferson county. Former member of Bergholz Ruritan and the masonic lodge.

Dan is survived by his wife, Saundra (Phillips) Stone; son; Shayne Stone of Nashville, TN; daughters, Beth Cline of Bergholz and Rhonda DiNovo of Columbia, SC; brother, James (Nancy) Stone; sister, Kim Jolly of Amsterdam; grandchildren, Courtney (Connor) Wilson, Annie DiNovo, Sam DiNovo, Madison (Grant) Oehler, Macy (Nate) Sperling; six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes there will be no services and arrangements were entrusted to the Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes.
