DARLENE DeFRANCO BRADY, 61, of Steubenville, OH passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Trinity East. She was born in Steubenville, OH, February 22, 1949. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond F. and Gladys (Miles) DeFranco and a brother, James Douglas DeFranco. She was a Charismatic Catholic by faith and was a very loving, caring and giving person who put others' needs ahead of her own. She was a longtime member of the Steubenville Moose Lodge where she served in numerous offices. Throughout her life, she was licensed hair dresser, a skilled cook, cake baker and decorator, was a nurses aid, and for many years she was in retail management. She is survived by her son, Charles R. Brady of Cumberland, MD, a daughter, Monita Brady of Pittsburgh, PA a granddaughter, Marisa Brady and a brother, Raymond F. (Mary Lou) DeFranco, Jr. of Raleigh, NC. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with Pastor Gary Hallberg officiating. Family & Friends will be hosted by the Word of Life Church following Friday's service. Interment will follow in the Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
