Darlene Marie Hennis 49 of East Springfield, Ohio passed away August 27, 2022 as a result of a motorcycle accident. She was born September 1, 1972 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Argel and Nellie (Vinburg) Oldaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Maple; brother, Mike Oldaker.

Darlene was a dedicated registered nurse with a BSN in nursing from Kent State University. She worked at Valley Hospice as their employee health and safety nurse. She loved camping, music and anything she could do with her family and close friends. She was the spark of many great adventures. Above all she adored her husband and two sons and took great pride in what good and decent people they are.

Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Howard Hennis; sons, Kendall and Kolton Hennis; brother, Pat (Kay) Oldaker; sister, Cathy (George) Cheripko; sister-in-law, Joni Oldaker, many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Robert Carson.
