David E. Anderson 85 of Steubenville, Ohio went to be with his Savior August 24, 2021 at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born January 4, 1936 in Cleveland, WV, a son of the late Oral Eugene and Lena Pearl (Herron) Anderson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Roby. David was a member of the Colliers Way Church of Christ where he served as an Elder for many years. He served in the US Air Force for over 20 years and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.

David is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Emma (Bonar) Anderson; daughter, Catherine (Robert) Johnson; son, S. David (Jessica) Anderson; grandchildren, Darren Johnson, Robert David (Christina) Johnson, Hannah (Justin) Kralik, Rachel ( Marcus) Mobley, Seth (Kim) Johnson, Caleb (Emilee) Johnson, Jamie (Jackie) Scritchfield, Jimmy Kuprowicz, Jarin (Abra) Anderson, Sara (Chris) Fields, Jasmine (Walt) Anderson, Jessica (Bryn) Cooper, Shawn (Rosie) Anderson, Shannon Anderson, Matthew Anderson, 20 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 12 Noon until 8 PM.

Additional visitation will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM at the Colliers Way Church of Christ, 612 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Colliers Way Church of Christ.
