David G. Devore, 82, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2017, at his home.
He was born Sept. 26, 1934, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Glenn Oscar and Anna (Bihary) Devore.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son and sister, Deanna Downen.
David served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years, and he completed his career in 1981.
He enjoyed gardening, antique cars and Farmall tractors.
David is survived by his wife, Ruth (Shroyer) Devore; sons, David Glen Devore II, Darren Devore and Darrell Devore; brothers, Donald (Sandy) Devore and Dale (Judy) Devore; special grandson, Darren Glen Devore; and special nieces, Candy (Edward) Milhorn and Melody Downen.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Michael Thurston officiating.
Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery with full military honors.
