David Alan Gache, 63 of Cape Coral, Florida, formally from Wintersville Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2018.
David was born March 4, 1955 in Beaver Falls, PA, a son of Eleanor (Hanby) Gache and the late Louis John Gache.
David married Gaila who calls David "best person I will ever know", they were happily married for 30 years. As a young man, David was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Wintersville High School and Bowling Green University with a degree in Distribution Management. David owned his own long haul specialty package delivery service. He enjoyed cars, driving, watching motor shows, spending time with the 'family unit' as he called it.
He is survived by his mother, Eleanor (Hanby) Gache of Wintersville, Ohio, his wife, Gaila (Greggo) Gache, of Cape Coral Florida, stepson, Cas Shuler of Williamstown, Kentucky, daughter, Emily (Gache) Brown and her husband, Cameron of Middletown, Ohio, son Joseph Gache and daughter Elizabeth Gache, of Cape Coral, Florida, and his two grandsons, Martin and Henry Brown of Middletown Ohio. He is survived by his brother, John Gache and his wife Mary (Wisnieski) Gache of Leesburg, Virginia, brother, Larry Gache of Cincinnati, Ohio, and two sisters, Laurie Gache, of Beavercreek Ohio and Carole (Gache) Sayre of Tempe, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, donations to fight cancer would be appreciated.
Family and friends received on Saturday, August 11 at 11 a.m. at Brentwood United Methodist Church, 148 Stevens Rd., Wintersville Ohio 43953 with Reverend Bill Westling officiating.
