David W. "Murph" Murphy, 70, of Carrollton, OH, passed away on June 24, 2019 at Aultman Hospital.

He was born October 15, 1948 in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late William and Geraldine (Hackathorn) Murphy.

David served his country and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.

He was a member of the Carroll County Veterans Club.

Murph was a competitive bass fisherman and enjoyed playing Texas Holdem.

He is survived by his loving wife, Danae (Croskey) Murphy; son, Travis (Becky) Murphy; grandchildren, Maison, Jaden, and Carson; sister, Kathy (John) Mullen;; uncle, Butch Hackathorn; and niece, Valli (Ken) Porter.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Monday from 4-6 PM.

Full Military services will take place at 6 PM at the funeral home.
