David R. Strosnider, 64, of Irondale , Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

David was born February 3, 1948 in Chester , WV , a son of the late Charles and Violet (Shilling) Strosnider.

He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam . David was a member of the American Legion Post 121 Chester, WV.

David is survived by his wife Peggy (Baughman) Strosnider of Irondale, OH; daughter, Stacie (Del) Snyder of Chester, WV; grandchildren, Aubrey, Ethan, and Elyssa; brothers, Charles (Peggy) Strosnider of Evansville, WY and Rick Strosnider of SC; Special nephews, Jon (fiancAC. Diana) Halfhill of Lisbon, OH and Adam Halfhill of Irondale, OH; and his companion and four-wheel buddy, Maggie Mae.

There will be no visitation. Private arrangements are entrusted in the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home. During this time of grieving the family asks in accordance with David's wishes to respect the privacy of his family.
