Debra Ann Hatfield

Debra Ann (Kugler) Hatfield passed away Thursday January 8, 2026. With her daughter Connie and niece Tiffinie by her side.

Debra (Debbie) was born on April 8th, 1956, in Martins Ferry Ohio to John F. Kugler and Donna M. (Clark) Kugler and resided in Wintersville with her long-time companion Cody Hubbs.

She had two children, Jason Kugler (resided with her in Wintersville) and Connie Tonge (Cliff) of Columbus Ohio. Debbie has 5 grandchildren; Mykala Dunn, Armani (Skyler) Dunn, Tiffany and Jay Michael Kugler, Jamyz Huggins; 4 great-grandchildren, Angel, Harmony, Alicia and Faith Tonge.

She was proceeded in death by her Father and Mother John and Donna Kugler, her siblings; Louann McElwain, Johnny and his wife Connie Kugler, Billy Kugler (Evelyn) and Cindy Nelson (Don). Brother-in-law; John Woodland (Nona) and her nephew; Leo M. Kugler Jr.

Surviving are her companion Cody, her siblings James Kugler (Missy) Nona Woodland (John), Leo Kugler Sr. ( Marisa) and Jodi Thomason (Patrick) Sister-in-law; Evelyn (Billy) and Brother- in-law; Don Nelson (Cindy)and countless cousins, nieces and nephews.

Debbie was a friend to everyone she met and was a very giving person. She was a Dallas Cowboys football fan.

She was also a feisty little lady when need be. She fought breast cancer in 2018 and won! She was greatly loved and will be as equally missed.

There will be no formal services until this summer along with her Mother’s burial of ashes. Date still to be determined.
