Denise A. (DeCesare) Martin 56, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at her home.

Denise was born June 15, 1956 in Steubenville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Chris and Doris White DeCesare.

She retired after 35 years of nursing and achieved her dream of becoming a published author with her book "The Elite". She was also very active in the community and was chairman of the Wintersville Special Events Committee.

Denise is survived by two daughters, Marci Zangrando and Fallon Martin of Wintersville; three sisters, Vicki Gaston of Weirton, Janine (Robert) Gale of Wintersville and Kelly (Steve) Konstan of California; nephew, Barry Gale.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 4 PM until time of a memorial service at 7 PM.
