DONALD N. GRIMES, SR., 48, of Amsterdam, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at the Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz after suffering an apparent heart attack at work. He was an avid sportsman, a Steelers and NASCAR fan and an antique auction enthusiest. Don loved spending time with his family, especially with grandsons, Jacob and Seth Grimes. He was born November 22, 1958 in Steubenville, OH. His father, Bernard Grimes preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Terri L. (Hitchcock) Grimes whom he married April 8, 1978; his mother, Norma Jean (Bohmer) Grimes of Amsterdam, two sons, Donald Grimes, Jr. and wife Chantel, Amsterdam and Brian Grimes and wife, Liane, Bergholz, two grandsons, Jacob Grimes and Seth Grimes; by 4 brothers, John, Dave and Joe and wife Carol, all of Amsterdam and his twin, Ronald and wife Pat of East Springfield and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Friday from 1 PM until 9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Don at 11 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the East Springfield Cemetery.
