DONALD E. WICKHAM, 76, or Richmond, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 03, 2007 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville following a lengthy illness. He was a retired carpenter from Weirton Steel Co., a Korean War Veteran, a member of the Richmond Untied Presbyterian Church a member of the Richmond American Legion Post #740, Honored Seven. Don was a woodcarver belonging to the Smoking Stone Woodcarvers Assn.
He was born in Steubenville, OH, September 26, 1930. He is preceded in death by his father, Edson P. Wickham, his step-mother, Edna Wickham Weaver, his mother, Katherine L. (Frost) Wickham Carter, his step-father, Curtis Carter, a brother, Kenneth and an infant sister, Juanita. Don is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Silvestro) Wickham, by two daughters, Julie L. Hill and Freda Joanne (Henry) Kellermier, both of Toronto, by a brother, Douglas J. (Linda) Wickham, Richmond, step-brother, John Chapman of Richmond and step-sister Carole Smith of Texas,
5 granddaughters and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Friday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday with the Reverend Jason Elliott officiating.
