Donna L. McClain, 86, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on June 15, 2025. She was born on April 19, 1939, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Leroy and Anna Marie (Williams) Moore. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, James H. McClain; and her sister, Katherine Reighard.

Donna graduated from Jefferson Union High School in 1957. She was a secretary early on at DiNovo's in Steubenville. She then went on to spend most of her career at the Edison School Board office in Stanton, retiring as Assistant Board Treasurer.

She is survived by her sister, Sally Mae Harris; her nephews, Aric Davis, Robert (Chrissy) Harris, and Jack Harris; her niece, Donna Rae (Denis) Moore; several great and great great nieces and nephews; her step son, Rusty (Georgia) McClain; her step daughter, Nancy McClain; her grandchildren, Austin and Sara Sheldon; and her 4 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 4-8 P.M. An additional visitation hour will be held the following day, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until time of services at 11 A.M. with Rev. Jason Elliot and Pastor Richard Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
