Doris Jean McCoy, 80, of Bergholz , OH passed away October 1, 2014 at home due to complications of cancer.

Born May 24, 1934 , she was raised around the Mercer- Grove City, PA area. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Viola ( Adams ) Buchanan and was the second of ten children.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" McCoy in 1977.

Doris is survived by her children, Nancy (Tom) Culp of Bergholz, Debbie Cross of Bergholz, Kathie (Ron) Long of Dellroy, Tim (Mary) McCoy of Toronto, and Rick (Angel) McCoy of Bergholz; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Doris was a faithful member of the Bergholz Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid Society. She was a member of the Bergholz Women's Club. She worked at the Bergholz Appliance Store for over 25 years under 3 different owners.

Friends will be received on Tuesday at the Bergholz Church of Christ, First and Jefferson Sts. , Bergholz from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral services at 2 PM with Pastor Dave Miller officiating.

She will be interred next to her husband in the Bergholz Cemetery .
