DORIS PLAVKA, 77, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Friday, May 29, 2010 in Trinity Medical Center West ER, Steubenville. She was a homemaker and member of the Bergholz Church of Christ. She was born in Chandler, Ohio, August 31, 1932, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Martin Riggs. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Plavka who died February 24, 2008. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Shirey, Greenwood, Indiana, Joyce Worwa, Yorkville, OH, and Connie Plavka, Bergholz and by a brother, Arthur Riggs, Bergholz; by grandchildren, Richard Plavka, Stanley Worwa and Eleanor Worwa and a great-grandchild, Brian. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz from 10 AM Friday until time of funeral services at 12 Noon.
