Dorothy J. (Brandon) Starkey, 83, of Weirton, WV, passed away April 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born March 26, 1934 in New Cumberland, WV, a daughter of the late James and Anna (Cooper) Boyer.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, John Brandon; infant son, Johnny; son, Charles James "Chuck" Brandon; and brothers, Eddie, Bill, Buss, Harry, and Kenny.

Dorothy attended Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church, Weirton and was a member of Country Friends.

She is survived by her husband Keith William Starkey of Weirton, WV; children, Debra Osz of Wintersville, OH, Brenda (Joe) Moran of Steubenville, OH, Darla June (Jason) Frankenberry of Gambier, OH, Tim (Cindy) Brandon of Wintersville, OH, and Brett (Lori) Brandon of Toronto, OH; step-children, Nancy (Mike) Pulice of Weirton, WV and Tammy Starkey of Massillon, OH; brothers, Steve (Gilda) Boyer of Weirton, WV, Pete (Debbie) Boyer of Weirton, WV, Charles (Joann) Boyer of Bloomingdale, OH; sisters, Mary Ann Kuckich of Weirton, WV, Virginia Lang of East Liverpool, OH, Juanita (Bob) Roush of Toronto, OH, and Bonnie Hoberek of East Liverpool, OH; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Valley Hospice for their care and kindness.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Bush officiating.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
