Dorothy "Dot" Agnes Ekey, 91, passed away January 25, 2022 in Lewis Center, Ohio. She was born October 25, 1930 in Toronto, Ohio. Daughter of the late Grover Grim and Hazel Booth. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Ekey; her brother, Oliver Grim; and her sisters, Myrtle Grim, Margaret Westfall, and Helen Gray. Dorothy worked at the A&P Grocery store for 20 years and later was a bible study teacher for 20 years. She loved her fur baby, Holly, they were inseparable. She loved playing bingo at the senior center and enjoyed making homemade cookies and fudge for the family Christmas get togethers. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Cybulski and her fiancé, Ralph DiBacco; her brother, Paul Grim; her sisters, Emy Carducci and Judy Podolak; her grandchildren, Jaymee (Corey) Tomasso and J.J. (Rebecca) Cybulski; and her great-grandchildren, Juliana and Joey Tomasso, and Kendall, Audrey and Alyssa Cybulski. A private service was held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home in Wintersville, Ohio. Interment will be at Cross Creek Cemetery.
