DOROTHY M. GORBY, 71, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006 in her home of natural causes. She retired from customer service at Sears and was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson Union High School and a member of the Wintersville Church of Christ. She was born in Milan, PA May 5, 1935, a daughter of the late William Osney and Frances (Eshbaugh) Cunningham. She is also preceded in death by one son, Carl David Gorby and by two brothers, William and Floyd Cunningham. She is survived by 7 sons, Gail and wife Patty, Steubenville, Alan of Steubenville, Eric and wife Linda, Galloway, OH, Gene and wife Sherry, Akeley, MN, Berl and wife Beth, Circleville, Joel and wife Mary, Chillicothe, and Adam and wife Valerie, Galloway; by brothers Wilbur (Janice) Cunningham, Richmond, Howard (Ada) Cunningham of Irondale, Hugh (Karen) Cunningham of Mt. Perry, OH, Forrest (Retha) Cunningham of Center City, KY and sisters, Esther Murphy, Toronto, OH and Loretta (Joe) Bates, Woodsfield; and by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday where funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday with Mrs. Gorby's son, Pastor Alan J.
