Dorothy M. Kerns, 73, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

She was born March 11, 1942 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Joe and Virginia Silvers Kerns. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Tim Kerns.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Kerns; two daughters, Darlene (Bill) Robertson of Steubenville and Charlotte Kerns of Wintersville; four grandchildren, Amber and Zachary Kerns, Jacob and Noah Simpson; sister Jo Ann Myers of Wellsburg, WV; brother-in law, James (Carol) Kerns of Steubenville; sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) Johnston of Steubenville; daughter-in-law, Theresa Kerns of Bergholz.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
