DOROTHY SOMERVILLE, 84, of Wintersville, OH, passed away at 9:40 AM Monday, April 03, 2006 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale. OH. She was born December 17, 1921 in Steubenville, OH, the daughter of the late Oliver and Kathryn (Rockledge) Miller. She was a graduate of Wintersville High School and a 1943 graduate of the former Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing from where she retired in 1979. She was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church, Unionport Chapter of Eastern Star and the President's Club of Ohio State University. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Somerville in 1989, four brothers: Joseph, John, Lawrence and Raymond; four sisters: Alice Popindick, Agnes Mooney, Lucille Critser and Frances Thompson. Surviving are her son, Doctor David (Connie) Somerville, Steubenville, OH a daughter, Jo Ann (Howard) Donohue, Dublin, OH, four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday at 11 AM with the Reverend Gary Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
