Dorothy E. Thomas, 90, of Richmond, OH, passed away December 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 16, 1927 in Empire, OH.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Thomas; father, Benjamin Householder; her step-father, Lemuel York; her mother, Bertha (Keenan) Householder York; son, Brett Thomas; brother, Ben and her sisters, Virginia and Joyce.

She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Dorothy is survived by sons, Brady (Merilee) Thomas of Richmond, OH and Bruce (Robin) Thomas of Richmond, OH; daughters, Kim Fluharty of Richmond, OH and Judy (Bryce) Clark of Columbus, OH; daughter-in-law, Pam Thomas of Steubenville, OH; brother, Bill Householder of Stratton, OH; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday 7-9 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
