EARL E. ELLIOTT, Jr., 48, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Monday, August 03, 2009. He had been driving a vehicle that was in an accident north of Bergholz.
He was born in Bergholz, OH, January 13, 1961, a son of Earl E. Elliott, Sr. of Amsterdam and Margaret (Davis) Elliott of Wolf Run. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Karen (Otto) Elliott whom he married July 2, 1983, by sons Jason Booth and fiancAC. Misty Mackim of Canton and Shawn Booth of Bergholz, by his daughter, Amy Booth and companion Chase Griffith of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Terry Elliott of Amsterdam and a sister, Charlotte Elliott of Toronto; by grandchildren Preston James Booth, Gage Michael and Isaiah James Chestnut and Chandler West Griffith and by his niece and nephew, Francesca and Frank Ward.
He worked for 20 years as a tree farmer at Carlton Tree Farms, Carrollton. He belonged to the Amsterdam VFW Men's Auxillary Post 232 and was a Protestant. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed horseshoes and softball.
Earl is preceded in death by grandmothers, Stella Elliott and Gladys Plavka and his step-mother, Dorothy Patrick.
Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz Wednesday from 5 until 8 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday with the Reverend James Stafford officiating.
He will be interred in the Bergholz Cemetery.
