EDITH IRENE DUNN, 71, of Cadiz, OH, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville following a lengthy illness. She was born in Steubenville, OH, December 11, 1937, a daughter of the late Harry and Edith L. (Young) Diekmann. She is also preceded in death by a son, Robert Joseph Dunn who died in 1974 and a brother, Harry L. Diekmann in 1973. She was the old Wayne High School Valedictorian of her "1955" high school graduating class and had done clerical work most of her life. She is survived by her son, Scott Eric Dunn and wife Jody of Gillette, Wyoming and their 3 grandchildren, Asher Joseph and Eli Immanuel Dunn and Sy Michael Schneider; by two brothers, Bruce (Reva) Diekmann of Elkton, OH and Roger B. (Marylin) Diekmann of Amsterdam, OH and by two sisters, Juanita "Pudge" Carmon of Bloomingdale, OH and Jessica "Candy" Myers of Carrollton, OH. Memorial services will be at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond. The time and date will be announced later.
