Edna B. Huggins, 95, of Richmond , OH passed away June 17, 2013 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville .

She was born May 1, 1918 in Weirton , WV a daughter of the late Wiley and Minta (Hurd) Tarr.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Huggins; son, James E. Huggins, a grandson, brothers, John, Raymond, and Robert Tarr; and sisters, Grace Taylor and Hilde Eddy.

Edna was a charter member at the Wintersville Church of the Nazarene where she was on the church board, taught Sunday school, a steward, and on the visitation committee. She volunteered at Dixon Healthcare Center in Wintersville.

She is survived by her son, Ronald L. (Hope Eimer) Huggins Sr. of Amsterdam; daughter, Edna J. Woodward of Richmond; brother, Henry (Norma) Tarr of Weirton; sister, Vera (Robert) Krupp of Weirton; 7 grandchildren, Robin Hendricks, Joe (Theresa) Hendricks, Ronald "Chip" (Amanda) Huggins, Randy (Melissa) Huggins, Debbie (Steve) McKay, David (Rachel) Huggins, and Steve (Melissa) Huggins; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St. , Richmond where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kelly Green officiating.

Burial will follow at Osage Cemetery , Toronto .
