Eileen L. Hendrix, 92, of East Springfield, OH, passed away on May 19, 2019 at Centerville Village, Carrollton, OH.

She was born June 18, 1926 in Harrison County, OH, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Cole) Skeeles.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, David R. Hendrix; son, Dennis Hendrix and grandson, Brent Hendrix.

She retired from Edison School District where she worked as a secretary.

Eileen was a member of the East Springfield Church of the Cross and the Eastern Star Chapter No. 360.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Judy) Hendrix; daughter-in-law, Linda Hendrix; brother, Harold (Kathy) Skeeles; sisters, Mildred Huber and Lorraine Ramsey; grandchildren, Troy (Lisa) Hendrix, Richard L. Hendrix, and David (Maria) Hendrix; and 7 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond on Wednesday from 6-8  and again on Thursday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Jim Gaston officiating.

There will be an Eastern Star service on Wednesday at 7:45 PM.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
