Obituary

ELEANOR G. FELTON, 71, of Salineville, OH, passed away at 2:10 AM Sunday, June 18, 2006 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown, OH, following a lengthy illness. She had worked as a nurse's aid at the old Central Clinic in Salem and later at the Salem Community Hospital as an aid and office worker. She was a 1952 graduate of the old Irondale High School. Eleanor was a member of the Monroeville Assembly of God Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and member of Anna's Sisters. She was known for her baking and for her attention to the needs of others by sending cards. She was born June 30, 1934 in Knoxville, OH. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Conrad Felton and her mother, Myrtle (Rose) Felton and by a sister, Shirley M. Felton who died March 10, 2003. She is the loving sister of two brothers, Dwayne (Joanne) Felton of Pinnelas Park, Florida and Dwight (Millie) Felton of Salineville; and of a sister, Violet Sevek, of Salineville; and the loving aunt of 2 nieces, 3 nephews and several grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Eleanor will be 1 PM Wednesday at the Monroeville Assembly of God Church, 6615 Co. Hwy 55 near Salineville. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM Tuesday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz and again from Noon until time of services at 1 PM at the church on Wednesday. Officiating at the funeral will be Pastors Timothy Cashen, Monte May and Douglas DeMar. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery on Co. Hwy 55.
