Elizabeth R. Hendrix, 79, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Sunday March 31, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

She was born January 12, 1934 in Follansbee, WV, a daughter of the late Nick Onea and Tecla Onea Balint.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert E. Hendrix.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Karen Guida of Richmond, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kelli Guida of Denver, NC and J.J. Guida of Richmond, OH; her two beloved sisters, Valerie Mitchell of Steubenville, OH and Sylvia (Edward) DiPino of Colliers, WV; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth worked at Carlisle's and retired from JC Penny with 25 years of service.

She was Methodist by faith and was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Unionport Chapter 360 Order of Eastern Star.

Her family would like to thank Dr. John Figel and Dr. B. Kochhar for all their kindness during her illness.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-9 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.

Entombment will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
