Emily Nicole Peckens, 36, of Columbus, Ohio, moved to her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born in Lima, Ohio on May 2, 1988. She is the cherished daughter of Jeff and Sheryl Kay (Newburn) Peckens of Bloomingdale, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, Emily is survived by her brother, Jared and her sister-in-law, Mica Peckens of Knoxville; two nieces, Payslee and Logan Kay Peckens; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Newburn; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Wonnona Peckens of Cadiz; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends.

She was a member of the Church of the Cross in East Springfield, Ohio. Emily was beautiful and fun to be around and generous to a fault. She was a lover of all animals especially dogs. She never met a dog she didn't want to hug. She attended Edison High School and The Ohio State University.

A private service will be held at the family's convenience
