Emma Jean Beavers, 87, residing at Sienna Nursing Home in Wintersville, Ohio formally of Council, North Carolina, passed away on July 9, 2023. Born February 7, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Grady and Irene Collum. She was a retired nurse's aide and homemaker, who loved gardening and her dachshunds. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Beavers, her brother James Collum, and sisters Edna McLamb and Edith Collum. Surviving are two sons Kenneth Beavers of Council, North Carolina and James (Cheryl) Beavers of Richmond, Ohio and daughter Susie (Bill) Larkins of Richmond Ohio. Grandchildren Benjamin, Mike, and Ryan Larkins, Wendy Hughes, Kim and Jeremy Beavers, and James Beavers. Several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, also missing her is her dachshund, Buffy.
