Ernest L. "Ernie" Frantz 82, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Valley Hopsice, Steubenville. Ernie was a member of Carpenters Local #186 Steubenville and was Methodist by faith.

He was born July 12, 1937 in Alikanna, Ohio a son of the late William and Margaret (Calahan) Frantz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Frantz and step-son, Jerry Patterson. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Frantz; a daughter, Kim Labanna; two step-daughters, Connie (David) Anderson and Tammy (Frank) Rotella; step-son, Earl Patterson; grandchildren and step-grandchildren; his dog, Bubba
