Ernest "Ernie" Magyar, 85, of Wintersville, OH, passed away December 17, 2020 at Wyngate Senior Living Community, Weirton, WV.

He was born October 9, 1935 in Smithfield, OH, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kokai) Magyar.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn J. Magyar; brothers, Emery and Steve Magyar.

He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes. He retired from IBEW where he worked as an electrician.

Ernie enjoyed golfing and was an avid Browns fan. He had been involved with Boy Scouts.

He is survived by sons, Gary (Lori) Magyar of Avon Lake, OH and Craig (Dex-Ann) Magyar of Columbia, SC; daughter, Jill (Kenneth) Bradley of Wintersville, OH; brother, Frank (Lucy) Magyar of Zanesville, OH; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends will be at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 12 PM until time of funeral services 1 PM.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
