ESKA L. MYERS, 94, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Valley Hospice Care Unit, Steubenville, OH. She was born December 14, 1915 in Doddridge County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Truman and Lacy Swiger Trader. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Myer, a son, Robert, a brother, Charles, two sisters, Levona Walters and Vern Utt and a great grandchild. She retired from the Edison Local School District after 27 years as a cook at Pleasant Hill Elementary School. She is survived by two daughters, Shelia Jones and Sue (Robert) Ferguson, both of Steubenville, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday with the Reverend Jason Elliott officiating.
