Evan L. Pilati, 57, of East Springfield , OH passed away December 29, 2012 at his home.

He was born April 1, 1955 in Steubenville , OH , a son of Donna (Drabick) Pilati of East Springfield, OH and the late William Pilati.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Pilati-Busby.

Evan was a member at the Christ United Methodist Church of East Springfield. He worked for Colfor Manufacturing in Malvern , OH .

In addition to his mother Evan is survived by his loving wife, Debbie (Horvath) Pilati; daughter, Jennifer (Noah) Smith of Richmond, OH; grandson, Jared Evan Smith; brother, William Pilati of Alabama ; sisters, Linda (James) Linthicum of Canton and Cindy (Emerson) Walker of Streetsboro, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St ., Richmond where funeral services will be held on Thursday January 3, 2013 at 11 AM with Pastor Josh Conley officiating.

Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery .
