Evelyn J. Magyar, 77, of Wintersville, OH, passed away August 24, 2015 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

She was born September 7, 1937 in Blaine, OH, a daughter of the late Oswald and Stella (Pass) Matros.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Finney.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville.

Evelyn worked for Jefferson County Vocational School for over 20 years.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ernest Magyar; sons, Gary (Lori) Magyar of Avon Lake, OH and Craig (Dex-Ann) Magyar of Columbia, SC; daughter, Jill (Kenneth) Bradley of Wintersville, OH; sister, Albina Hotz of Fairborn, OH; and 12 grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon with Father John McCoy celebrant.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
