Virginia Fay Wintle, 92, of Richmond , OH passed away following a

brief illness on September 14, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

She was born December 23, 1921 in Wellsville , OH , a daughter of

the late Charles and Marguerite (Fairman) McCombs.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband,

Sidney Wintle; daughter, Judith Ferguson;

and brother, William McCombs.

Fay volunteered at St. John and Trinity Medical Center West for

30 years. She retired from Prudential Insurance.

She is survived by her son, Jon Christopher Wintle of Conway , SC ;

sister, Betty Leatherberry of Wellsville , OH ;

6 grandchildren, Kent (Roberta) Dobson, Susan (Jim) Keenan,

Wendy (Steve) Westlake , Cathy (John) Moro,

Leslie (Bobby) Eroshevich, and Suzanne Rush;

14 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren;

and her dear friend, Sara.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home,

110 W. Main St. , Richmond on Wednesday, September 24, 2014

from 5 PM until time of the memorial service at 7 PM .
