FLORENCE D. GORDON, 91, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 in the Minerva Elder Care, Minerva following an extended illness. She was born March 6, 1917 in Bauma, Switzerland, a daughter of late Serafino andAngela Pedot Martinelli. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Pearl W. Gordon who died March 6, 1997, by a sister, Christine Booth and a brother, Primo Martinelli. She was a homemaker and farmer. She especially loved growing flowers and gardening. She is survived by her son and his wife, Pearl and Mary Grace Gordon of Salineville, by her granddaughter, Mary Elaine Gordon of Lewisville and a sister, Isabella Scopel of Amsterdam. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Monday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM.
