Obituary

Floyd Hooper, 75 of Bergholz, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Country Club Manor, Steubenville.

Floyd was born March 18, 1938 in Hammondsville, Ohio, a son of the late James and Minnie Hood Hooper. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Janet Hooper; daughter, Jeanne Everly; brothers, Carl, James, Ray, Richard, and David; sisters, May Daniels and Thelma Springer.

He was a Veteran of the US Army, was employed by Sterling Mining Corp. as a foreman and was Methodist by faith.

Floyd is survived by a son, Joseph Hooper of Columbus; sister, Gladys Wujick  of Florida;  mother-in-law, Vivian Moretta of Bergholz; friend, Alisa (Jeff) Paice of Wintersville; niece, Debra Pinkerton of Salineville, OH, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, OH on Tuesday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Pastor Mark Thomas will officiate and burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery. Send condolences online at www.everhart-bovefuneralhomes.com.
