FLOYD S. "Bud" GRIMES, 57, of Amsterdam, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 16, 2011 in his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous fight of pancreatic cancer..
He was born
He retired as an LMF operator at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel after 39 years of service and attended the Amsterdam Hope Church.
Bud loved his family with all his heart. He was a wonderful, loving and funny son, husband, father, Pap Pap, brother and friend.
He was a true sports fan; a faithful Steelers, Pirates and Ohio State Fan. He had coached softball and Babe Ruth ball.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his wife of 35 years, Linda (Dorsey) Grimes, daughters Kim (Michael) Gardner of Amsterdam and Lindsey Grimes and companion, Americus DiMario of Carrollton, OH, grandchildren, Kiley Babel, Jacob Gardner and Ashton DiMario, brothers, Michael and Robert A. (Debra) of Richmond, Mark of Grove City, OH and David L. and companion, Lisa of Wintersville, sisters, Pamela (Dan) Hanick of Cleveland, Michelle (John) Cook of Steubenville and Tammy Pulice and companion, Ron Waggoner of East Springfield, two life-long best friends, Bruce Barnett and Raymond Brown and his special cat, "Angel".
