Floyd A. Shuman, 92, of Carrollton , Ohio passed away April 22, 2012 at Carroll Health Care Center, Carrollton .

Floyd was born November 26, 1919 in Jacksonburg , West Virginia , a son of the late Huey Clark and Nellie Edda (Gray) Shuman.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Shuman; son, Daniel "Danny" Floyd Shuman; two brothers, Harvey and France Shuman; and two sisters, Rosanne Shuman and Lilian Blanche Warner.

Floyd served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the South Pacific. He retired from Weirton Steel. Floyd was a member of the VFW Ponce DeLeon, Florida # 4437.

He is survived by his daughter, Ruth Ann (Robert) Westfall of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Daniel, Debra, Paul, Francis, Beth, and Robert; eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at Carroll West View Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
