Freda E. DeLeonardis, 68, of Richmond passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at home with her family by her side. She recently retired after forty-five years at the Weirton Medical Center Laboratory and was a member of the Richmond United Presbyterian Church. Freda was born September, 29, 1938 in Toronto, OH, a daughter of the late Vernon and Gertrude Lucas Fiala. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Helen Martin. Freda is survived by her loving husband ,whom she married July 9, 1960, William DeLeonardis, one son Todd (Amy) DeLeonardis of Powell, TN; one brother Edward (Janie) Fiala of Toronto, OH; five sisters, Margaret Fox, Sardis, OH, Esther Fox, Inez (Curtis) Weese, and Wanda (Ronald) Diar all of Toronto, and Betsy (Thomas) Ivill of Steubenville, OH; two step grandchildren Zachary and Emily. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be 3 PM Sunday at the Richmond United Presbyterian Church with Pastor John Hearn Officiating. Private Burial will be at Richmond Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
