FREDERICK E. DYE, SR., 62, of Annapolis, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, following a lengthy illness. He retired as an electrician from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Co. after 30 years of service. He was a member of ABATE of OHIO, Inc., the Jewett Sportsman Club and the Buck-tales Club, the Horseshoe Club of Knox Twp., and a Harley Davidson enthusiast.
He was born May 4, 1944 in Steubenville, OH. He is preceded in death by his mother, Peg (Frantz) Goddard. He is survived by his father, Edward Goddard of Stratton, by 2 sons, Fred Dye, Jr. of Dayton, OH and Michael Dye of Annapolis, OH, a daughter, Patricia (Phillip) Markwell, Jr., of Annapolis, one brother, William (Joyce) Dye, Toronto, 5 sisters, "Sis" (Howard) Stine, Irondale, Joann (Bill) Martin, Wintersville, Elaine (Floyd) Wright, Toronto, Susan Haines, Massillon, OH and Peggy (William) Zende, Wintersville and by grandchildren Nazareth Lee Smith, Tylor Michael Smith, Aaron Douglas Peterson and Teresa Jo Elliott.
