Frederick "Fred" John Kowal, 64, of Toronto, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 in Valley Hospice in Steubenville, OH.

Fred was the son of the late Anthony John Kowal, Sr. and Ethel (Warner) Kowal.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Fred was Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brother, Anthony "Tony" Kowal, Jr. and sister, Catherine Marie Kowal.

Fred is survived by 3 sisters, Mary Ann (Mark) Merrin of Richmond, Pam (Kowal) Haysler of Wintersville, and Anita (Kowal) Frazee of East Springfield. Plus his companion Itsey his cat. He also leaves behind 3 nephews, 2 neices, 2 great nieces, and 1 great nephew.

Fred will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Per Fred's wishes there will be no services.
